How to lead your woman from the Front
Sexual relationships between men
and women tend to thrive when the man confidently
and respectfully leads the relationship.
In today’s age, it can be difficult for many women to follow
because they fear it requires submitting to male authority.
However, this fear is often unjustified,
and following can actually be in the woman’s best interest.
To allay these anxieties, men must approach leadership
with sufficient knowledge and tact.

Using military analogies, here are the core principles men need
to follow to effectively lead in a relationship.
Be More Competent Than She Is
First and foremost, if you want to lead,
you must be more competent than she is.
You have to be a better leader; otherwise,
you do not belong in that role.
As women continue to develop their own competencies,
the bar is constantly being raised for male leadership.
A healthy perspective on this competition is to view
her growth as fuel for your own self-development:
- If she goes high, you go higher.
- If she is tough, you must be tougher.
- If she is kind, you must be kinder.
You justify your leadership by being at least
a little bit ahead of her.
The best way to get a woman to accept your leadership
is to become a man worth following.
Without genuine merit, men resort to
“pulling rank”—reminding the woman that they are the man
and demanding obedience based on gender alone.
In the military, if a commander has to pull rank,
he has already lost the hearts and minds of his soldiers.
Demanding obedience simply
because you are a man is like a doctor demanding
obedience simply because he is an authority;
give people a reason to enthusiastically follow your wisdom instead.
If your only argument is your ascribed position,
your authority is highly tenuous.
Understand Your Audience
The second vital rule of leadership
is to never give an order that either cannot or will not be obeyed.
If you follow this rule,
you will never have a problem with obedience.
Never Give an Order That Cannot Be Followed
In the military, officers must understand the skill sets
and liabilities of those under their command.
You do not tell a gunner to patch up the wounded.
The person you are commanding might literally be unable to do
what you ask, and becoming forceful will not change that.
In a relationship, you have to act like a good coach.
A good coach deeply understands the skill level of their athletes
and encourages them to go just a little bit further than
what they have previously accomplished.
When a coach brings out the best in us,
we are grateful and follow them because it is beneficial.
A good request must be within the realm of possibility,
given an accurate understanding of her abilities.
Never Give an Order That Will Not Be Followed
This requires understanding the current circumstances.
A good coach knows when to push athletes
and when to give them deep rest.
A leader who only whips his team is a tyrant,
and a tyrant will grow to be hated.
You never want to get into a power struggle with a woman because,
unlike in the military, you have no real recourse to enforce
compliance in a voluntary relationship
other than emotional manipulation, which degrades the relationship.
It is better not to ask a woman for anything she is not willing to do.
If she is not willing to do what you want,
you should find someone who enthusiastically does.
Ninety percent of a successful relationship is selection.
