Only The Strong Can Handle These Painful Truths of Life
I am a person who believes that life is beautiful
and there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
However, I also acknowledge that there are truths of life
that are simply painful
and will linger for too long if you refuse to accept them.
In mid-2023, my company’s projects were getting rejected repeatedly.
I was so stubborn and continued to do the same thing,
expecting different results, which didn’t work at all.
Many gave me wonderful advice, but I rejected them; to me,
others were ignorant.
It took me one year and three months to realize
that I couldn’t accept the fact that my ideas were wrong
and others were right. I was too egotistic.

These lessons opened my mind to many perspectives.
We always dream of paradise, but miss the fact
that you must walk through hell to get there.
These harsh and painful truths in this article
are meant to open your eyes to what life truly is
and help you make sound and better decisions in life.
Your self-worth
“No matter how good you are, if you are in the wrong place, you are worthless.”
Many people accept poor treatment from others
because they fail to recognize their own self-worth.
I had poor self-esteem, which made me tolerate poor treatment
from family members, friends, and relatives.
Until I woke up and chose myself.
It was the beginning of a good life for me.
“Forget what you feel, remember what you deserve.”

Your self-respect must be stronger than your feelings in relationships,
at your workplace, and at public events.
There will always be people who will diminish
your self-worth if you let them.
Stand strong on your values and never let people put you down
because you love them.
People who love you will never put you down.
Relationships and people
“Sometimes, people come back into your life to check if you still didn’t learn your lesson.”
It happens frequently in toxic relationships.
Please understand that the person who treated you poorly
in the past knew what they were doing.
No amount of lies and apologies will alter their behavior.
They are not coming back to your life
because they have recognized your worth;
it is because they are lonely or want to use you.
I dealt with some toxic behaviors with some family members,
and I know that most people don’t change;
they just start wearing a mask.
Pain and suffering
“You walk through fire. And you do not speak of the burns.”
Suffering and pain are inevitable.
Complaining about your suffering makes you look weak.
Everyone suffers; you are not the center of the universe
or the most important person in the world.
The world doesn’t stop just because you are having a bad time.
It will continue regardless of your problem.
My mentor advised me to accept my pain, not to complain about it.
Goals and dreams
“Chase your goals like you chased that person who didn’t want you.”
What surprises me is that men (mostly) will sacrifice everything
just to get a girl, but will never put that effort toward their goals.
The girl who wants you will never make you chase her.
Distance yourself from your emotions and think rationally
about the treatment and effort that you are getting.
Decisions and consequences
“You either get paid for decisions you made years ago, or you pay for decisions you made years ago. The choice is yours.”
Life is unpredictable, but people can shape their future through their habits,
mindset, and the company they keep.
If you decide to set goals, make plans to reach them,
replace unhealthy habits with healthy ones, and discipline yourself,
you will undoubtedly have a bright future.
I have witnessed a man who is focused on his goals achieve
everything he dreamed of.
I learned that if I stay consistent through the
journey, learning, adapting, and improving, I will achieve my goals.
“One day, you’ll realize that your dream died because you chose comfort over effort.”

It will haunt you forever.
Many people let their dreams die because they stay in their comfort zone
and never dare to explore their full potential.
Never be that person.
Ever since I began exploring my potential, facing my fears,
and improving myself,
life has started presenting me with opportunities and surprising me.
Everyone’s journey and experience are different.
Don’t just read this article and watch videos about life;
go out and explore it.
Attention and grandiosity
“Too much attention makes a donkey think he’s a lion.”
We have too many donkeys in our society who think they are lions.
Too much attention can make anyone believe they are a king.
I am not talking about a friend that you know
or a colleague who thinks they are the greatest, but you.
We humans often lie to ourselves about who we are.
It is always a friend who is weak, lazy, or ugly, but it is never you.
To know yourself, test yourself.
Self-awareness gained through practical results is accurate.
It is a lesson I learned through podcasts and learning about history.
Standing on your values
“Never change your decisions due to fear of society. Society will give you advice, not food.”
People’s opinions should never affect your judgment
or make you change your mind.
Society likes to judge, but they don’t help.
This is a friendly reminder to satisfy your soul, not society.
I have watched a man who was nice to society being mocked
and laughed at when he lost everything.
I learned to always put myself first and let others express their thoughts.
Public appearance and self-respect
“Being in good shape is another way of showing self-respect.”
I am not a big fan of making your appearance your entire focus.
However, taking care of your physical and mental health
is a way of showing how much you love and value yourself.
Dress well, be physically fit, smell nice,
and surround yourself with good people.
